Prof. Vaibhav Bhamoriya
Professor of Economics, IIM Indore.
A mining engineer from ISM by basic education and a rural manager and water researcher by choice with a post graduation from IRMA in 2001. He has worked as a mining engineer with the Saurashtra Cements Limited ( 1998-1999) and as a consultant researcher for the IWMI-Tata water Policy Program of the International Water Management Institute. His research interests include water / waste water management, livelihoods, social entrepreneurship, marginalization and education. He is also an advisor to Bihar Development Trust, Yardstick Solutions and is also the Secretary of the IRMA Alumni Association.
Prof. Abhishek
Professor of Marketing, IIM Ahmedabad.
He, after graduating in Economics, has attended Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) from where he earned a Masters degree in 2001. Prior to joining IIMA, Abhishek has worked in government and development sector organizations where he was part of team implementing rural marketing and social entrepreneurship projects.
Dr. Prabal Vikram Singh
Director, Research, ACCESS Health International Hyderabad.
A public health professional with an experience of more than six years with NGO and Department of Public Health and Family Welfare, Government of Madhya Pradesh. His doctoral dissertation from IIM Ahmedabad is on Chiranjeevi Scheme being implemented by Government of Gujarat. His past assignment involves working with NISG in its Capacity Building and Knowledge Management service division.
Dr. Vaibhav Chaturvedi
Pursuing FPM (Economics), IIM Ahmedabad.
Prior to joining the doctoral programme at IIMA, Vaibhav has done post graduation in Forestry Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management at Bhopal and thereafter worked for two years for a NGO based at Ahmedabad. His work involved socio-economic research on irrigation water, watershed management and sustainable rural livelihood. With an international publication, and three other publications, Vaibhav is working on some other research papers primarily related to energy and climate change economics. His thesis is on inter-relationship of India's economic development with global carbon market.
