Position
The Consultant- Crop Husbandry is directly responsible for all the agriculture activities planning, extension and support to the community and team.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing, leading and guiding the field team in the project area
- Support, Guidance and monitoring of FPOs
- Collection and consolidation of all relevant data
- Provide advisory services to farmers/ABC through demo-coordinator on agri. Practices, plant protection, disease management, farm mechanization etc.
- Prepare weekly plan for himself/herself and try to achieve those in coordination with team members under him/her
- Participation in the meeting of Groups and visit to filed for regular monitoring of the progress
- Documentation of information, relevant photo be captured of the activities
- To ensure timely supply of input services to the farmers
- To ensure all steps of POP is followed by the farmers as per the timeline
- Facilitation of the visits of external persons in the project locations.
- Day wise reporting on the work done will be shared to the concerned reporting authority.
- Conduct training, meeting, workshop and other project activities
- Motivating farmers for demonstration of crops.
- Collect demonstration data and also crop data from time to time as required in the project
- Organizing farmers visit to demonstration plot
- Organizing farmers training and exposure visit related to demonstration
- Identifying farmers training needs and communicating to the project team
- Organizing training program in villages
- Regular & periodical visit to demonstration plot of the area
- Identification of farmer for front line demonstration of agriculture inputs
- Facilitation of demonstration at farmers’ plot
- Recording progress of demonstration plot and feeding into MIS system of the project
- Taking video, photos of all interventions regularly and periodically
- Taking photos and videos and updating it regularly and periodically and timely at google drive and WhatsApp and any other cloud platform suggested by KF
- Practicing Maintaining the organization’s norms/ethics/work culture
- Perform other related duties as and when it is asked and required
- Any others tasks/ activity which organization asks to perform although not mentioned above for overall benefit of organization and community
- Ensure quality and timely implementation of activities in line with the project workplan.
- Participate in training sessions and program level review meetings.
- Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting as per projects requirement or organization guidelines.
- Undertake all other duties and responsibilities which commensurate with the role
- Any other responsibilities given by the organization for program and organizational development.
Education, Qualification and Skills Needed
- Graduate in Agriculture from a recognized University with 5+ years of relevant experience in crop production techniques, technology intervention and working with FPOs/Large Farmers' Groups etc. Graduation in Human Resources, or Social Sciences or in any other subject
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of computer - Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication skills, Fluent in Hindi, good in English
- Should be able to work in an environment of ambiguity and handle pressure

The Consultant- Agri Marketing /Value Addition /Processing is directly responsible for market linkage and value addition of the supply chain of FPOs.
Job Responsibilities
- Form and promote FPOs by adopting cluster approach
- Facilitate and guide the FPOs in constitution of Board of Directors (BoDs) and management
- Training and capacity building of FPOs/farmer groups
- Design, prepare and execute Business Plan for long-term sustainability of the FPOs
- Facilitate availing of credit from financial institutions, Credit Guarantee, Equity Grant etc.
- Facilitate convergence of various Government programmes
- Providing Incubation/Handholding Services for Sustainability of FPOs
- Facilitate for establishing necessary common pool production, marketing and processing infrastructure facility by the FPOs
- Facilitate undertaking complementary and supplementary income generating activities
- Assist in rating of FPOs promoted by the AGENCY under the Scheme,
- Assist / undertake federation of FPOs
- Assist FPOs in compliances including; financial management and utilization of funds, book-keeping and timely submission of statutory returns/documents, etc.
- Any other activity related to implementation, management and monitoring of the programmee implemented by the AGENCY
Education, Qualification and Skills Needed
- MBA in Agribusiness Management or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute with 3+ years of relevant experience in Agribusiness/ Agri. Marketing/ Value Chain Development including Post Harvest Management and working with FPOs/Large Farmers groups etc.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of computer - Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

The Consultant- Information Technology/ MISis directly responsible for maintaining the MIS and IT management for project and FPOs.
Job Responsibilities
- Development of MIS tools and template for project monitoring and data capturing

The Consultant- Agri Marketing /Value Addition /Processing is directly responsible for market linkage and value addition of the supply chain of FPOs.
Job Responsibilities
- Up to date books of records of KF and FPO
- To monitor delegated budgets and provide detailed budget v/s actual variance analysis in accordance with delegated budget to Head office and District office.
- Visit the project in the field, attend meetings, provide support all financial matters with regard to the total delegated budgets.
- To orient and ensure donor compliances with respect to financial reporting.
- To receive and deal with financial queries and enquiries from departments or Project office.
- To provide induction on financial matters in accordance with financial management manual to new recruits in the District offices.
- To provide support to line manager on the day to day operation of all financial information system.
- To contribute to the analysis of financial information, preparing reports and making recommendations for corrective course of action, in liaison with line managers.
- To provide training sessions with the support from line manager to finance and non-finance staff.
- To monitor procedures in respect of checking and authorizing accounts for payment, as part of the finance team.
- To ensure the books of accounts are maintained as per the standards and timely manner
- Review monthly bank reconciliation statements of all bank accounts and update the line manager on its timely compliance.
- To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems.
- It will be necessary to work with information technology and associated systems in accordance with company policy.
